Aloha, I am Tracy Tegarden of Trade Winds Photography. Trade Winds Photography has been synonymous with the finest in wedding and portrait photography since its inception in 1998. Having pursued my interest in photography for the last 20 years, I spent several years learning my craft before turning pro. My work is a constant evolution as my inspirations come from a variety of sources, but more importantly from every client I photograph. My work has been viewed in several publications, including the cover of the Maui Wedding Planner. Consistent professionalism has been recognized among my peers. Several organizations have elected me to office. I am currently the president of Maui Professional Photographers and have spent several years as an elected official of the Maui Wedding Association. I am dedicated to providing quality professional photography on Maui and the entire Hawaiian islands. My love of the outdoors first brought me to Maui in the early 1980s. I usually like to start my day by enjoying Maui’s great weather. You will find me out paddling canoes, riding my bike, catching a wave, or just out having fun! Back in the office I enjoy creating beautiful images and albums for my clients. I also love movies. On the job I’ll often use my unique sense of humor to quote lines from movies that seem to fit the moment. If you're lucky (or unlucky, depending on your point of view) you may get one of my impersonations of Homer Simpson, Ronald Regan or Clint Eastwood, but never ask me to do my Mike Tyson, especially if I’m hungry. I have a great love for most animals and share my home with "Rocky," my pet cat. At home, everything is under control because Rocky has me trained well. I realize that being in love is a great gift and being able to share my passion of photography with the emotions of my clients compliments my work.
