Over twenty-nine years ago LaVerne's Travel began when a group of LaVerne and the Starlites (LaVerne's polka & country music band) suggested that she arrange a bus trip to her performance in Daytona Beach, Florida for a Polka Festival. The band went on to perform in Europe and Hawaii , as well as on many Caribbean Cruises. LaVerne and her husband, George, began arranging and escorting trips together, building what is now LaVerne'sOriginal LaVerne's Travel Logo Travel Agency. Over the years they developed many destination favorites thru their faithful travelers, such as annual trips to Branson, New England, Alaska , and the popular "Mystery Trip". The mystery trip made headlines when, in 1999, the secret destination was Kansas City , Missouri . It was there that an author discovered the mystery tour travelers and an article was written and published in the May, 1999 Daily Word , entitled "The Ultimate Mystery Tour" (click to view article). LaVerne's Travel still remains a family-operated business even though her husband passed away in 2001. In 2005 Kim moved back to Little Falls to join the travel agency. Kim brings a new energy and personality to the family business, while the tours maintain the same quality and excellence that our travelers have come to appreciate.
